A never-ending journey to a make-believe destination

21 and a half came fast

a constant reminder of a younger me

Because I laugh so hard I cry, but that doesn’t mean I’m sad

A fine line between the two

what could possibly rot

Or just a black hole in the shape of me

i’m letting go

I bet you miss me now

A mirror of sorts

An open wound, bleeding

Effortless and freeing

So off I go, running away from home

I’ll dance in the rain while I plant flowers

When pencil marks illustrated my height and etched the wall
